About Us

Towards the end of January members of the choir were delighted to have a representative from Devon Air Ambulance drop in to one of our rehearsals, to thank us in person for the money raised for the charity by our fundraising gig in November.

Since then, we have been hard at work learning new songs to add to our repertoire for when we are back out gigging later in the year. If you come to see us perform in the summer, you may well notice some new faces, as we have had some new members join us since our charity gig.

One of our new members has been bringing a friend along to rehearsals, who is proving very popular with the choir. Freya is a therapy dog who is hanging out at choir to help with her socialisation. Here is a photo of her, just because everyone needs more cute dog pictures!

We meet at St Andrew’s Church Hall every Thursday in term time, 7.30-9.30 pm.
Come along around 7.15 one Thursday (ladies only remember!) if you would like to find out what it’s all about. Or you can message us via our Facebook page or give us a call on 07754 949301.

Unity in Sound Community Choir is a women’s choir based in Ipplepen. Members are a mix of ages, life stages and backgrounds.

Our aim is to grow our numbers. We’re a non-audition choir singing a range of different parts so there’s sure to be something to suit every voice. So whether you’re a total novice, rusty or an experienced singer, why not come and try Unity in Sound Community Choir – we’d be delighted to see you. MORE…
