About Us

October was a great month for Unity in Sound, kicking off with an Actual Gig, the first in around 20 months!
It was a particularly special gig as well, part of the belated ‘big birthday’ celebration for our Committee Chair, who has worked incredibly hard throughout the pandemic to keep the choir going and the members in good spirits. It was so good for the choir to sing their appreciation, and such a buzz to be singing for an audience after so long. It sounded great and the energy was amazing.

The focus now is on learning new songs and gearing up for gigs in the summer. We have a few in the diary already, so there is much to look forward to. We have had 10 new members join since restarting face to face rehearsals and more are welcome: it’s a great time to join!

Unity in Sound Community Choir is a women’s choir based in Ipplepen. Members are a mix of ages, life stages and backgrounds.

Our aim is to grow our numbers. We’re a non-audition choir singing a range of different parts so there’s sure to be something to suit every voice. So whether you’re a total novice, rusty or an experienced singer, why not come and try Unity in Sound Community Choir – we’d be delighted to see you. MORE…
